HEAD injuries were the main cause of Joao Esteves' death, Daniel Palmer's murder trial has heard this morning (Monday).
Pathologist Dr Nathaniel Cary, who carried out the post-mortem on Mr Esteves, has been giving evidence this morning at Lewes Crown Court.
He told jurors the main cause of death was head injuries.
However, he added that an additional contributory cause of death was alcohol intoxication.
