POLICE investigating the theft of duty free items from Gatwick Airport have arrested a man and woman employed at the airport today (Thursday).
Shortly after 6am officers from Sussex Police running an operation into thefts at Gatwick stopped two staff who were seen to be acting suspiciously.
Officers searched bags being carried by the workers and recovered sealed bottles of perfume and other duty free items.
A search is now also being carried out at a home in Crawley.
