A MAN will face trial accused of stealing goods from Poundland and assaulting a member of staff.Neil Hunter appeared at Crawley Magistrates' Court last Wednesday charged with theft and assaulting an employee.Hunter, of Brighton Road in Southgate, pleaded not guilty to both counts.On April 22 the 40-year-old is alleged to have stolen items to the value of £26 from the town centre shop.The court heard the complainant was working at the store and saw the defendant pick up the items and walk...
