THE police helicopter was dispatched over Crawley in the hunt for a man who jumped out of a taxi and fled when officers attempt a stop and check.
A male passenger made off from a taxi in Ifield on Friday evening (August 29) when Sussex Police officer attempted a stop check on the vehicle.
