A STAFFORDSHIRE bull terrier has been seized by police after it bit another dog and left a woman in hospital.
The owner of the staffy has been arrested on suspicion of being in charge of a dog while allowing it to be dangerously out of control in a public place.
On Sunday at about 9pm the woman was walking her dog in Heather Walk when it was bitten by the staffy, causing puncture wounds while the woman was bitten on her hand and needed hospital treatment.
