Crawley man arrested in pre-planned police operation

A MAN has been arrested following an ongoing police investigation. The 44-year-old local man is currently in custody on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm (ABH) and harassment. Surrey Police, acting on allegations made by a female complainant from the county, made the arrest by The Grange Hotel in Brighton Road, Crawley, at 8.10am today (Sunday). Sussex Police were called at 10.40am today (Monday) to a report that a man had pushed his way past a woman into her home in Fennel Crescent. On Wednesday Sussex Police officers swooped on the park in Southgate after receiving information from members of the public.
