A 13 year-old-girl was the victim of a failed robbery after a man tried to steal an iPod from her.
The bungled theft happened at approximately 3.30pm on Friday when the girl was pushed over while walking home from school across East Court playing fields.

Two people have been charged after 10 kilos of cocaine was found hidden inside cakes at Gatwick Airport.

UPDATE:A former priest and curate at a Southgate church has been jailed for 10 years after being found guilty of 36 charges of sexual abuse, including two attempted rapes.
Gordon Rideout was found guilty by the jury at Lewes Crown Court of two attempted rapes and 34 indecent assaults on boys and girls as young as five years old. He was acquitted of one charge of indecent assault.
