THREE men have been arrested following a police pursuit through Crawley today (Wednesday). A member of the public phoned police to say a group of men were acting suspiciously in The Birches, Three Bridges, at 1.20pm. They were in a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle then failed to stop for police and headed towards Pegler Way. The three men then abandoned the vehicle and climbed over a fence in Church Street, West Green. The police helicopter was scrambled and officers on board spotted one...

A THIEF who stole spare wheels from 20 vehicles parked at Gatwick Airport has been jailed.Bernard Cawley, from East Ham, appeared at Lewes Crown Court on September 22 and pleaded guilty to a charge of theft from motor vehicles.The 41-year-old stole spare wheels from unattended vehicles parked at long stay car parks at the South Terminal and North Terminal between April 2 and 6 this year.A total of 20 victims have come forward but the value of the items stolen is not known.Cawley was sentenced...

A COURT hearing for a man accused of being involved in the alleged prostitution of a woman has been delayed.
