A GOLF BUGGY was set alight in a suspected arson attack in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday). A crew from Crawley Fire Station was sent to deal with the blaze at Cottesmore Golf Club, on Buchan Hill, Pease Pottage, at 6.59am. Having arrived in one fire engine, the crew found the fire already out. They stayed on the scene for around half an hour to ensure the blaze would not reignite. Firefighters believe the golf buggy had been deliberately set alight.
