A THUG has admitted attacking another man in Crawley's Poundland store in Queens Square.
Neil Hunter, 41, from Brighton Road, Southgate, carried out the assault in the discount shop on April 22 last year.
He appeared at Horsham Magistrates' Court on February 16 and was given a 12-month conditional discharge.
He was also ordered to pay £115 in costs.

A MAN has been ordered to carry out unpaid work and given a restraining order after being found guilty of assaulting a woman.
Abdul Ali, 43, had denied attacking Linda Amoordon-Ali at an address in Colne Walk, Gossops Green, last October, but was found guilty on February 16.
Ali was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months when he appeared at Crawley Magistrates' Court on February 20.

A YOUNG motorist has been convicted of driving without due attention and failing to stop after a crash.Taha Abbas Al-Alou, 20, of Livingstone Road, Tilgate, committed the crimes in Southgate Avenue on August 24.He previously denied the offences, but changed his pleas to guilty when he appeared at Horsham Magistrates' Court on February 16. Arsonist sets fire to recycling bin damaging home
AN ARSONIST set fire to a recycling bin outside a home in Gossops Green in the early hours of Sunday.
A crew in one fire engine was sent from Crawley Fire Station at 4.12am to deal with the blaze outside the house on Highams Hill.
Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the flames, which had caused slight damage to the property's guttering and fascia.
They were away from the scene at 4.34am.

Man "with knife" arrested in Crawley Harvester
A MAN has been arrested at a Harvester restaurant in Three Bridges after reports that a man there was in possession of a knife.
Police were called to The Hawth Park Inn, in Haslett Avenue East, at 9.40pm last Thursday.
Erwan Queffeulou, 31, a security worker, from Commonwealth Drive, Three Bridges, has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon.

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted close to a railway station.
The attack happened in Station Approach, close to Horley station at about 7.40pm on Friday, February 27 as the girl, who is in her late teens, was walking towards the station.

The break-ins took place on Wednesday and Thursday in Burwash Road.
