THE family of Ifield murder victim Janet Müller have paid tribute to the "inspirational, passionate and caring" student.
The body of 21-year-old Janet was found in a burning car in a quiet lane just off Rusper Road, Ifield, on Friday, March 13.
In a statement issued today, the family said they would not rest until they knew the truth of how she died.

Ifield man fined for keeping unlicensed car on the street
A MAN has been fined £200 for keeping a vehicle on the street outside his home without a licence.At Crawley Magistrates' Court on March 2, Stephen Kemp was found guilty in his absence of keeping the Nissan Primera on Treyford Close, Ifield, on October 31 last year.
He has been ordered to pay vehicle excise duty of £19.17 and court costs of £90, on top of the fine.

Rubbish and furniture set alight behind Pound Hill home
LOOSE rubbish and furniture was set alight behind a house in Pound Hill yesterday (Monday) afternoon.
A crew of firefighters was called to Pearson Road from Crawley Fire Station at about 3.05pm.
They used a hose reel to put out the fire, which was started deliberately, and left the scene at about 3.20pm.

Large police presence at Ifield shops amid rumours of fight
SEVERAL police cars were sent to the shops on Ifield Drive amid reports of a fight, according to locals.
The large police presence was spotted at the parade just before 5.30pm.
Residents have said they heard rumours that a fight had taken place, although this has not been confirmed as Sussex Police are currently unavailable for comment.
The officers left the parade at about 6pm.

Ifield woman attacked man at garden centre while stealing candles
A WOMAN from Ifield has been fined £37 for assaulting a man at a garden centre while she stole £200 of candles.
Clare Cole, 30, admitted stealing the candles from Newbridge Garden Centre, in Broadbridge Heath, on February 19, when she appeared at Crawley Magistrates' Court on March 11.
Cole, from Findon Road, Ifield, also pleaded guilty to assault by beating during the same incident.
She was fined £73 for the theft and £37 for the assault on Martin Thornton.

A CATHOLIC priest was today (Friday) sentenced to three years' imprisonment for the sexual abuse of a child more than 30 years ago.
Father Anthony McSweeney, 68, of Old Brighton Road North, Pease Pottage, was found guilty on Friday, February 27 at Southwark Crown Court of an offence committed during his time working at Grafton Close Children's Home in Hanworth, southwest London.

Reason for huge police presence at Ifield parade shops revealed
DESIGNER jackets and belts which police believe were stolen were found in a van after officers stopped it on suspicion of being involved in drugs offences.
At about 5pm on Wednesday officers stopped and searched the Ford Focus in Lancing Close, Ifield, close to the parade of shops on ifield Drive.
They found no illegal substances but they did find designer jackets and belts in the boot. Some jackets still had price tags on, indicating retail values of more than £400.

A LARGE police presence including officers, cars, vans and a forensics unit has been sent out to playing fields just off Rusper Road in Ifield.
The officers were there at about 1.30pm but it is not known why.
