A MAN has appeared in court accused of performing a sex act in front of a child in public.Timothy Cawston is charged with engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a 12-year-old girl, in Dorsten Square, Bewbush, on July 11.The 62-year-old, from Railey Road, Northgate, appeared at Lewes Crown Court on Monday for a preliminary hearing.However, the case was not ready to go ahead so the judge adjourned the hearing until November 5.Cawston was released on bail.
