A TERMINALLY ill patient's family had their car windscreen smashed and a ward window where elderly people are treated was also targeted by yobs believed to be using catapults.
Police have quickly stepped up patrols at East Surrey Hospital following the "sickening" incident on Wednesday last week (May 13), between 5 and 6pm.
No injuries were reported, but the incident left patients and staff shaken after the ward window was smashed.
