A FEMALE protester has been arrested, for allegedly assaulting a police officer at an anti-fracking demonstration.
The women was arrested this morning at the Caudrilla Resources site in Balcombe where hundreds of campaigners have descended to voice their opposition to fracking.
A further women was also arrested under the Trade Union Labour Relations Act and follow 16 arrests yesterday, which resulted in 12 people being charged.
