AN East Grinstead man has been convicted of assault.Brett Stonestreet, of Sackville Gardens, was charged with the offence against Stuart Rodgers in the town on Friday, August 23.He appeared at Crawley Magistrates' Court on Wednesday last week, where he pleaded guilty to assault by beating and was given a 12-month conditional discharge.He was also ordered to pay costs of £105.
