Bewbush teenager convicted of handling stolen mountain bike

A teenager has been given a 12-month conditional discharge, after pleading guilty to handling stolen goods.Owen Lear, of Curteys Walk in Bewbush, appeared at Crawley Magistrates' Court on February 25.The 19-year-old pleaded guilty to dishonestly undertaking or assisting in the retention or disposal of a Blue Giant mountain bike that belonged to Stephen Morris.The teenager was also ordered to pay £100 in compensation, as well as a £15 victim surcharge and court costs of £85.
