A MAN is due to go on trial later this year charged with possessing an offensive weapon in a public place, in connection with a fight in Crawley town centre.
Naser Haji, a clerk, from Lewes Road, Brighton, did not enter any plea when he appeared at Crawley Magistrates' Court on March 11.
The 22-year-old, who is accused of being in possession of knife, has been remanded in custody, and has been placed on the warned list for July 18.
This means his trial may take place on that date at Lewes...
