A MAN has been jailed after sexually assaulting and attempting to rape a woman in Pease Pottage.
David Ball, 46, of Chelmsford, Essex, was found guilty of attempted rape and assault by penetration after a trial at Lewes Crown Court.
He had already pleaded guilty to two counts of actual bodily harm.
The offences took place on February 3 this year.
