A Tilgate plumber has slammed the "scumbags" who deliberately torched his car and stole thousands of pounds worth of tools.
Joe Rous was walking his dog on Saturday night at Ifield Mill Pond and returned to the car park to see the blue flashing lights of a fire engine.
The 29-year-old's Vauxhall Astra was well alight, and Mr Rous was made to watch on from a distance while the crew of firefighters tackled the blaze.
