Crawley's borough commander says he cannot rule out that the same person or group of people are behind a worrying spate of arson attacks on cars and vans which have hit the town over the last three weeks.
Chief Inspector Dave Padwick was speaking after the latest deliberate attack in a car park at Ifield Mill Pond on Saturday evening, where a car belonging to Tilgate plumber Joe Rous was broken into and set on fire.
