POLICE have been called after a 13-year-old girl was approached and then followed by a stranger in Tilgate.
The incident occurred yesterday (Wednesday) in Ashdown Drive.
The man was in a dark coloured car and asked the girl for directions, but is then reported to have followed her up Canterbury Road on foot.
A post has been placed on the Spotted: Crawley website asking for anyone who saw anything suspicious to get in touch with police, who have been informed.
