PERHAPS anticipating the current hot weather, a thief has picked an unusual target for a crime - an ice cream van.
Police are investigating after the crook nabbed a box of ice cream cones from the van which was parked in Fennel Crescent, Broadfield.
The crime took place on Friday - but no ice cream was stolen, so it can only be assumed the thief already had their own!
