The man accused of raping a woman as she walked home through East Grinstead will remain in police custody until he next appears in court.
Tyrone Carr, 27, a gardener of High Street, East Grinstead, this morning appeared at Crawley Magistrates' Court where his case was promptly sent to Lewes Crown Court due to its seriousness.
