A BURGLAR was able to steal goods from a house in Whittington Road, in Tilgate, after leaning in through an insecure window.
They reached in and stole a Google Nexus tablet and a charger.
The crime took place some time between 1 and 8.30am on August 24.

A BLUE Ford Focus has been stolen from the driveway of a home in Perryfield Road, Southgate.
The owner of the car is believed to have lost the keys a few days before the theft.

Prisoner on the run after escaping from jail could be in Sussex
POLICE have today warned the public that a criminal on the run after escaping from prison could be in Sussex.
Adam Yaroo, 28, absconded from an open prison in Sudbury, Derbyshire, on June 23.
Today (Friday) Sussex Police made a public appeal for help to catch him.
He is originally from Sidcup, in Kent, but also has links to London and is believed to have committed burglaries in Sussex in the past.
He is described as 5ft 9ins tall, stocky with cropped black hair.

A 15-YEAR-OLD boy has been charged with a series of driving offences.
The teenager from Lingfield, who cannot be named due to his age, is accused of three crimes despite being two years too young to hold a licence.
He is charged with driving without insurance, without a licence and failing to produce a licence in Northgate Avenue, Crawley, on January 8 this year.
He is listed to appear at Crawley Youth Court on Tuesday.

SOME thieves will steal absolutely anything they can lay their hands on.
And that was certainly the case in Milton Mount Avenue, in Pound Hill, last Sunday.
Because the owner of a car returned to their vehicle to discover its windscreen wipers had been stolen.
