A MAN arrested in connection with a serious sexual assault on a teenage girl in Reigate has been released on bail.
The attack happened in Tunnel Road shortly before 2.30am on Friday.
A 29-year-old man from Crawley was arrested at 5.45am that morning in connection with the attack.
Police have this morning confirmed he has been released on bail to return to Reigate Police Station next month.

A MAN has been arrested after the attempted rape of a teenage girl on Saturday night.
Steven Fern, 47, has been charged with the attempted rape of a 17-year-old girl from Crawley.
Fern, of Bonehurst Road, Horley, was arrested following a call to police reporting that at around 12am a man got out of a white BMW and attacked a teenage girl as she was walking up The Ridings in Worth, before then driving off.

Three sheep attacked in Blindley Heath
Sheep have been attacked in a field belonging to Osney Lodge Farm, in Blindley Heath.
Three are dead and several others were left injured in the attack off Byers Lane.
Police have said that there are no witnesses to the actual attack which occurred before 7.30am yesterday (Tuesday).
But, someone may have seen a dog straying with blood on it, or aware of a neighbour's dog that has gone missing.

Ambulance driver in court for speeding
AN AMBULANCE driver is accused of breaking a temporary speed limit on the A23.
The unknown UK Specialist Ambulance Service employee is alleged to have driven in excess of 40mph in the emergency vehicle on Handcross Hill on April 6.
A hearing was due to take place at Horsham Magistrates' Court on Friday, September 6, but it was adjourned to October 11 due to insufficient court time.

Primary school child caught with cannabis in playground
POLICE were called to a Bewbush primary school after a boy in Year 6 was found in possession of cannabis.
Teachers at the unnamed school alerted police after finding the pupil with a bag containing a small quantity of the class B drug on Monday at 11.15am.

AN ADMIN worker said she was asked to destroy vital medical records to prevent a care home from being shut down.
Lisa Martin was requested by her manager Meera Reed to shred documents that were about to be taken to hospital with an elderly patient who died shortly afterwards, an inquest heard.
