AN elderly woman has been charged with a series of motoring offences in East Grinstead.Beryl Lehan is accused of driving a Volvo without due care and attention, failing to stop after an accident and failing to report an accident.The three charges relate to an incident in London Road on June 3. The 76-year-old, of Moat Road, was due to appear at Crawley Magistrates' Court on Wednesday last week, but the case was adjourned until September 25.

Woman, 19, attacked in Bewbush on way home from house party
POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an incident in which a 19-year old woman was attacked in Sullivan Drive, Bewbush, while walking home from a house party.
The attack took place on Friday, November 1 at about 11.50pm.
